Surprisingly, this mod has brought a huge improvement to the overall graphics of the game. I used this mod together with "Weather Overhaul" and "Better Rain", and the effect is amazing
sorry if this is noob question but does it matter if added to user.cfg instead of autoexec.cfg? similar commands are already inside the user.cfg like volumetric lighting one.
For optimization, as 2 calculates the effect on a smaller resolution, but I found that 1 look much better and only take 1-2 FPS more (at least at 1440p) so I recommend changing it to 1 anyways. 2 may be good if you're playing in 4K for example because the base resolution is already very high.
I moved r_FogShadows from autoexec to user.cfg and left the r_FogShadows = 2 in the mod.cfg. Checking with console I have r_FogShadows = 1 ingame. I suppose the mod.cfg isn't needed. But idk.
Same question. my guess is mod.cfg is executed as well, but which one first? and why different values. (Was supposed to be a comment to this: Quick question... why does the autoexec.cfg have r_FogShadows = 1 and the mod.cfg r_FogShadows = 2 ?)

Thanks.
Anyone knows?
btw. is the autoexec needed if the cvar r_FogShadows = 1 is added to user.cfg?
